Word Cloud (not Tag Cloud) (6 posts)

I am looking for a way to display a list of words and short phrases (possibly a few images too, but that's not a must) in a cloud, similar to tag clouds that are often times installed as widgets.
This cloud must to be in the body of a page, not in the side column (and it therefore cannot just be a widget), take most of that page's real estate, and display the words in a dynamic and visually pleasing way. I am envisioning something like the Apple thank you page (see screenshot)

In fact, it would be extra awesome of the cloud is dynamic, so words either flow and float, or the user interacts with them.

I have found a few word cloud plugins on they seem to either be too old for new versions of WordPress or too plain.
Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Does it need to be dynamic? Or are you looking for something static?

    If static, I like Wordle - http://www.wordle.net/

    Thank you Jonathan.
I should be more than just a static image. Some level of dynamics, like slow movement (e.g. words either float or flow), or some level of user interaction with the words (e.g. they grow and shrink as you hover over them.)

    Any ideas?

Maybe this is what you're thinking?

Thanks again, Jonathan. This 3D tag cloud was one of the first I tried, but it's unfortunately a widget, meaning, it doesn't go into the body of the page, just the widget area. :-(

If the widget is exactly what you're looking for, and if you have some knowledge of PHP, you could likely extract the function it's calling and render it somewhere on the page without too much trouble.
