WooCommrce System Status recommends a minimum MySQL version of 5.6.

I let run the WooCommrce System Status and later I had the alert that my MySQL version were not the newsiest. I asked my webhoster, how I could update it and he answered me that there’s no stable version of MySQL 5.6 for their Operating system that they use on the servers, so I have to still using WooCommerce on the MySQL 5.5.49.
He also told me, that it wouldn’t make troubles, when I let it run on this MySQL version… Is that true ? Can I let run WooCommrce on a website that has MySQL 5.5.49. ?
