 * I’ve set tax to 25%, but WooCommerce calculates it wrong. The number I get at
   the checkout page is 20%. Why is this and how do I fix it?
 * Thanks

 * WC calculates taxes correct. Trust me. I’ve gotten the math wrong before regarding
   this and I’ve seen countless others getting the math wrong 🙂 If you post an
   example here I’ll provide a second set of eyes to look over the math if you want
   to.

 * A second set of eyes are most welcome.
 * I have an item with a price of 189:- SEK tax included. Swedish tax is 25%. When
   I calculate it I go by 189 * 0,25 = 47,25.
    According to some people I’ve talked
   to after creating this post I should instead do it like 189 * 0,20 wich is 37,8.
   37,8 is also what WC gets.
 * An easy explanation on why this is like this would be welcome. I’ve always figured
   if I buy something for 100:-, 25:- is tax.
 * Thanks

 * Well since you’re entering prices including tax, tax should be 25% of the product
   price **without** tax. Product price excluding tax: 189/1,25 = 151,2. 151,2 *
   0,25 = 37,8. 37,8 is 25% of 151,2 meaning the price will be 189 **including**
   tax 🙂
