WooCommerce + Version 5x causes refunds to duplicate

    When using WooCommerce + 5x of this plugin and processing refunds in the backend it causes the plugin to refund 10, 20, even 50+ times resulting in some freakishly huge numbers.

    This seems to happen on every gateway I’ve tried (PayPal, Square, and Offline).

    The only fix after much troubleshooting was deactivating this plugin upon doing so, it all worked fine again. Immediately upon activating it a second time the issue continued.

    Going to have to leave this plugin off of our store for now, 5x seems quite buggy.

    Do you have memcached enabled?

    Yes, we did — but — even with a disable it still caused the issue. I filed a ticket with our gateway extension developer and they’ve confirmed that they’re having multiple reports of SG Optimizer causing this issue.

    Can you email me your domain at hristo.p [at] siteground.com? I really want to dig into this because it’s very difficult to recreate it on my end.

    Again working totally fine now without the optimizer installed – but – if you want to peek at logs. 😊
