[Plugin: USPS for WooCommerce] Shipping Default

    I’m running WooCommerce for a client. We have him setup with USPS for all shipping. I realize you can change the shipping defaults in plugin setup if you have more than one shipping option with different companies (IE, USPS, FedEx, and UPS).

    My problem: We are only using USPS but have multiple shipping options within. I can’t figure out how to change the default to be the cheapest available option. We are offering Express & Priority. It appears it doesn’t matter what order you add the shipping options to the list.

    Does anyone know a workaround for this? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    We’ve been having trouble with the USPS plugin since it was offered. Even with multiple revisions it doesn’t work for us. We have variable products with different weights but the plug in can not calculate the proper postage. Even with a couple of ponds of products the need to be shipped first class parcel, small priority, medium priority and large priority shipping methods will be offered. Of course customers will choose the cheapest and we will be stuck with the balance. You can not choose a default shipping method w/in the USPS plugin. Woo said they are working on it but it’s been months.
