# Woocommerce Update issue

 * Morning Guys,
 * I have abit of an issue with an old Woocommerce I built about 3 years ago. The
   Paypal IPN stopped working so I went through your documentation and applied relevant
   fixes/IPN changes to make this work but it didn’t work. However how old it is
   I figured it could be simply and out of date gateway, it stopped on the 1st July
   and I think Paypal did release an update.
 * So I decided to run an instance and update Woocommerce 1.2.6 (yeah that old!)
   to 2.4 this has upgraded fine. The front end is in bits which isn’t an issue 
   I expected this as the theme files were so out of date half of them didn’t exist
   anymore and there’s twice as many.
 * My Issues I am having is :-
 * 1. All products no longer exist on the front end, unless I update a product then
   it display. Problem is there is around 200 products.
    2. None of them have prices
   anymore. 3. Keep noticing other bits of product data missing.
 * Is this because Woo has updated and not mad Database updates, I can only assume
   the prices are now stored in a different way making the old prices irretrievable?
 * Any information on the above would be appreciated, the site is a freebie for 
   an old friend just to get the Woocommerce emails working upon successful payment
   again.

 * Sheesh thats old, updating definitely the way to go.
 * What theme are you using with the site?
    Have you tried disabling plugins to 
   troubleshoot?

 * I have activated Storefront for debugging purposes and still have the same issues,
   the main shop/categories are all empty

 * But as you can see there is no buy button or price and in the backend the price
   field is empty which I assume is the issue here. If the products worked fine 
   this wouldn’t be an issue I would just reskin it in the new templates, it is 
   more the missing data.

    Woo is left on Default

 * Go to settings > permalinks, from your structure it must be set to “Post Name”.
   Please confirm.

 * What I would suggest is maybe reverting to older version and then update to latest:

 * Yes I read the forum post last night, however I wasnt aware I could get to the
   right version as Mike suggest 2.0.16 and this seems to exist :-
