• Our store, http://www.analyticalgrammar.com, uses Woocommerce for shopping, and Atandra/T-hub for shipping & labeling, plus flowing to quickbooks.
We just upgraded our store to Woocommerce from Magento last week. We’ve noticed that we’re having “operation time out” issues when T-hub tries to reconnect to Woocommerce and report info back to the website. Most of the info gets there, but it takes FOREVER.

When we ship, the tracking numbers and the “change this order to COMPLETE” gets sent back to WooCommerce. It’s that communication that is getting hung up. I have a log I can provide that shows the “operation time out.” Atandra has checked everything on the thub side. Since the info is (for the most part) reaching WooCommerce, their settings are seem correct, and they are pointing back to WooCommerce. Any suggestions?

I’ve not heard of “Atandra” before – do they use the API, or how else do they connect to your store? Any examples of the API calls they are using?

If it’s the API, ensure you check server error logs. You can also try disabling some of the extensions (stamps.com I know can cause overhead do to api calls) to see if they are affecting it.

    Thanks Mike,

Atandra is actually pretty good (www.atandra.com). We’ve used them for years with Magento; it works fine with WC, but it’s just going very slow today for some reason.

Atandra connect with API. We will check server error logs. In the meantime, we disabled and then enabled Stamps.com (per your suggestion), and also cleared our carts (We had a lot of carts) and performance improved somewhat.

    Mr. Jolley,

I also have a question about flat rate shipping/free shipping. We’re using the Wooforce USPS Stamps.com plugin. We are toying with the idea of offering free Media Mail shipping (or you can “upgrade” to Priority) in US only.

Can this be achieved? We first looked at offering a free shipping coupon in the WC dashboard, but don’t see shipping inclusions/exclusions in the parameters, or some sort of weight-based inclusion/exclusion.

Do we need to set it at flat rate $0? (but then do we have to turn off Stamps.com, making it difficult for international packages?)

    Thoughts? Thank you!
