    Woocommerce is generating thumbnails wrong…

    Please take a look at the attached diagram I have made to which I am referencing too by clicking here.

    1) These are my image sizes/shapes A and B the red boxes depict the woocommerce thumbnail which is cut from the image (see diagram).

    2) When WooCommerce generates thumbnails I end up with this (2) (see diagram).

    3) This is the result I wish to achieve when WooCommerce generates thumbnails for products (3) (see diagram).

    How can I change the way WooCommerce generates thumbnails, I don’t want to have the zoomed in effect which happens in figure (2) shape (B). I want WooCommerce to generate the thumbnail for images with shape (B) as I have depicted in diagram (3) shape (B) centered with space either side?

    Currently with all the images in my database which are shaped like shape B have the head and bottom of the image cut off by this messed up thumbnail generation woocommerce uses.

    I’m sure this question is rather simple but it’s really difficult to explain with just words. Thanks
