  • For WooCommerce it is highly recommended to enable ESI, but OLS doesn’t have ESI support, so maybe this is the reason why you don’t see WooCommerce tab.

Why do they advertise then that it does work on openlitespeed?
    WooCommerce and bbPress support

I build a brand new server, migrated 12 websites and a ton of data to a new server with openlitespeed for this :/

There is no way around to install ESI on OLS, manually?

No, this is one of the differences between OLS and LSWS (Enterprise).

    Where did you read that?

OpenLiteSpeed does not support ESI functionality. You will need LiteSpeed Web Server Enterprise, LiteSpeed Web ADC, or QUIC.cloud CDN in order to use ESI.

    https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/cache/#esi-tab

And this last part is available in OLS. Don’t understand why this feature is not here. I’m a bit surprised about that.

I have to many domains, that is more like a side project / hobby. And litespeed enterprise has only 1 free domain usage.

or QUIC.cloud CDN in order to use ESI.

    Do you have quic.cloud?

Not activated yet, i was just logging in.
Funny think I think overnight something happened. Now I do see the woocommerce tab :s

Still I’m going to activate the CDN now, only need to know how you can activate ESI then, I’m using DirectAdmin so I need to google a bit. If I find a solution a will post it here for anyone else that wants it.

There is nothing you can configure in OLS or DirectAdmin. OLS has no ESI support. Therefore there is nothing to configure and DirectAdmin knows nothing about ESI. If quic.cloud is used and if it is true that ESI is supported with quic.cloud on OLS, then it is dedected by the plugin.

So the QUIC.cloud is enabled. The DNS has been changed and activated on the quic.cloud.
    ESI is set to ON.

In the widgets I also now see new ESI settings.

However in the WOOCOMMERCE tab inside the litespeed cache plugin, it don’t see the “Use front page & Private cache cart settings”

    https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/cache/#woocommerce-tab

Does anyone know if this take time to become active? Or do I need to activate something else too?

Nothing to do. The image at the documentation is outdated. There is no more “Use front page & Private cache cart settings”, so what you see in WooCommerce tab is the current status.
