Should you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out. We are here to help!
Unfortunatly the initial problem i had with the Product Gallery (Beta) – Vertical Swiping in the image area doesn’t work – remains unsolved. Support on the thread offered further help but the issue got marked as resolved and no one got back to me since. I sent in a feature request aswell. I am not sure what’s the way to go from here.
Hi @koemig,
Thanks for getting back!
The “Product Gallery (Beta)” is still under active development as you can identify from the name (beta), we’re working on addressing the known issues and refining functionality based on feedback like yours.
I’d love to understand more about your specific goal with the gallery, are you looking to optimize it for mobile swiping, vertical image stacking, or something else? If you can share a bit more, I’ll be happy to help and point you in the right direction while the beta continues to evolve.
Looking forward to your reply!
Hi @sandipmondal,
i understand it’s still in the developing phase and i am thankful that WooCommerce is working at the Product Gallery at all to offer an All-In-One Solution.
In my case i am looking for an optimization of the mobile swiping behaviour. The main issue is that i cannot swipe the product page down, in the area of the product image of the product gallery. Since it’s a large area that covers nearly half the screen, it’s kind of negatively impacting mobile usage.Thank You for your time and effort.

To further investigate and ensure we’re tackling this issue properly, could you please provide a link to your site or the specific page where you’re seeing this behavior? That will help us take a closer look and make more informed adjustments or report it to our team.
Looking forward to your reply!
Hi @sandipmondal ,
it is a problem on the product pages. An example page: https://holz-tiere.de/produkt/kette-eichhoernchen/
On the main pages holz-tiere.de | https://holz-tiere.de/ohrringe/ | https://holz-tiere.de/ohrstecker/ i can swipe up and down on every area of the screen, including the images. But if you click on any of the products, you will see it doesn’t work in the image area of the Product gallery.
Thank You for getting back to me and have a nice weekend!
PS. There is also a forum thread i opened: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/product-gallery-beta-mobile-handling/#post-18459288
