WooCommerce Stripe Plugin installation crashed my site too

I installed the Woo Commerce Stripe plugin this afternoon, then when I activated it, I got the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/wiwild5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/includes/class-wc-stripe-webhook-handler.php on line 101

This error displays both from the WP admin and my public page. I can’t log into my WP site to uninstall the plugin.

me too yesterday, and my SQL was stop working.

and I just update it, and still monitoring it.

Hi @clairerelish @alexlii

Are you having the exact same error message as @possumtale?

Can you check how your WooCommerce folder is named on your site, you can check this via FTP in the plugins folder. It should show as woocommerce and nothing else. Stripe should show as woocommerce-gateway-stripe

Hi @alexlii

It could be the multisite part which is causing the error but if you have WooCommerce active and activate the Stripe extension, this should work.

You previously mentioned that your MySQL stopped working as well – did you find the cause of that?

If you look in WooCommerce > Status, then click into Logs, check to see if there are any fatal errors logged for this time period.

@alexlii – the Stripe extension you’re using which is shown in your errors is not ours. You should contact the author here https://wordpress.org/plugins/payment-gateway-stripe-and-woocommerce-integration/
