My store is just gone over night. The plugin is not visible backend but I can see the folders in FTP view. When I tried to reinstall the plugin I get a message saying “Destination folder already exists”. Is there any fix for this other than reinstalling a Backup?

You could try FTPing the plugin files after downloading it from here up to the server – maybe a file is corrupt?

Will allow you to install any plugin or theme using the add new button. If the plugin or theme already exists, its files will be overwritten without the “Destination folder already exists” error.

This shouldn’t be necessary and is very unusual, so its possible there is some other fault. Take a backup before going further.
