Woocommerce stock messages not displaying

    On a site i am currently working on, the stock level is not being displayed on the frontend. I have inspected the code and there is an empty <p> with the class=stock, but if a product is out of stock, it doesn’t read Out of Stock. I’ve checked and settings are in the settings screen for out of stock = 0, and low stock = 2, with both turned on. The product linked in this post shows out of stock on the backend, but no alert shows on the frontend.

    Any ideas would be great!

    Can you please advise if you see it if you switch your theme? I want to rule it out as a root cause.

    Also, please send us a copy of your site’s System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hi Elvira,

    It does seem to be something i’ve done in the theme, but i’m not sure what. Might take a little investigation…

    This is the status report, the weird thing is that in my theme, the p tag is there for stock, but it doesn’t add the out-of-stock class or the text.

    Hi there @adamsuper,

    Has the issue started recently?

    I see that your WooCommerce plugin version doesn’t match its database version:

    WC Version: 3.6.4
WC Database Version: 3.5.7

    Can you please run Update database tool from WooCommerce > Status > Tools and check if it makes a difference? It might not, but this mismatch may create issues with your products indeed.
