    Hello there!

I have an Amazon affiliate website. I have products from Amazon on it.

The problem is that the Woocommerce sorting function is not working.

Basically, I need sorting by price function to work.

I am using the ReHUB theme and I imported products using the Wzone plugin.

Your help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

Hey @kamal612 – I can’t replicate this on my staging site and suspect there might be something going on with your theme. Can you temporarily switch to Twenty Twenty or Storefront and see if that improves things?

I switched it to the Twenty Seventeen theme and still it does not work.

    Hi @kamal612

Thanks for trying out that test for us.

I did some digging on this for you to see why this could be happening. I visited one of the products in your site: https://theprostore.website/product/tommy-hilfiger-mens-performance-bomber-jacket-regular-and-big-tall-sizes/ and then tried looking at prices. There doesn’t seem to be an actual price field on display: https://d.pr/i/BvcUFj

Your site does seem to show prices in the front end: https://d.pr/i/r5R38p

Interestingly enough, the price does show up with under the Price CSS class as well: https://d.pr/i/MvfB33

Nevertheless, since this doesn’t show up in the front end, I think the problem could be because the plugins you have used for the Amazon syncing (the wZONE plugin as you had mentioned) might be tinkering with the price meta field, resulting in the problem.

In any case, can you try out a full conflict test in your site? You have already switched to the Twenty Seventeen theme. Additionally, can you also deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce temporarily to see if it fixes the problem? You can find steps on how to do this over here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

We look forward to hearing back from you!

Thank you so much for your detailed response.

And I am sorry for the late reply.

I deactivated all the plugins except Woocommerce and then checked the website.

    The problem still persists.

Can I provide my login to you so you can check the look the problem into details?

    Thanks

    Hi @kamal612

It appears you’re using the **External/Affiliate product** product type to include a link to your Amazon products. The short option on the shop page uses this product’s pricing data to short by price as it does the other product types.

    https://d.pr/i/4Z6i75

The problem here is that the products were imported and not likely created correctly or you’re trying to sort from a custom page other than the shop page.

Try manually creating products with affiliate data and see if those new products are able to sort as expected. Either way, you’ll want to contact the developers of the import plugin or the theme author for help with the sorting feature not working as expected.

    Thanks,

    Hi @kamal612

We haven’t heard back so we’re going to mark this thread as resolved. Feel free to open a new thread should you find this issue persists with the most recent version of WooCommerce.

    Best,
