WooCommerce shows order “on Hold”

    WooCommerce shows recent order under Order Notes:

    “Validation error: PayPal IPN response from a different email address (myaddress.com). Order status changed from Pending payment to On hold.”

    I logged on to my Developer PayPal access, and everything is shown to be operating normally, and the order in question has indeed gone through and the PayPal account is credited with the payment.

    Yet on the client website’s WooCommerce Orders, the status is still displayed as “On Hold.” I would assume that if there was actually any disparity between those 2 email addresses, that the payment would not have actually gone through. The customer that placed the order received a PayPal receipt email, as expected form any routine successful order processed through PayPal.

    How to troubleshoot?

    Hmm. I did not notice that – thank you! I deactivated that plug and activated the WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway: by WooCommerce – 2.1.3 – we’ll see if that solves the problem. I am not sure how the extra plug got in there. The site in question doesn’t do much in the way of actual e-commerce.
