    On most of the pages in the back end of my wordpress site (posts page for example) there is an error message displayed toward the top of the page saying:
    An error occurred in WooCommerce Services. Details are logged here.
    When I click on the ‘here’ link I receive a bunch of information with the header

    USPSUnited States (US) Shipping Zone
    The most recent rate request failed
    Request was made 2 days ago – check logs below or edit service settings

    USPS (WooCommerce Services)Europe Shipping Zone
    Setup for this service has not yet been completed
    Edit service settings

    USPSRest of the World Shipping Zone
    No rate requests have yet been made for this service
    Review service settings

    I have clicked into each one of these services and I do not see a place to re-request rate information—- Is there a problem with my site preventing woocommerce from properly querying the database it uses to access rates? Is there some other problem? If anyone could pleae let me know how I can go about fixing this I would be infinitely grateful.

    Hi 1momma1,

    Thanks for getting in touch. The error notice you are seeing appears when rates are requested from the cart or checkout page, and an error is encountered. We are working out some issues around the display of errors in the plugin – these will be fixed in the next version – but you can enable “Logging” on that status page in order to see logs in the “Debug” section.

    In any case, please make sure you have shipping weights set for your products (and you’ll probably want to enter dimensions as well), as this is a typical reason for shipping rate requests to fail. Let us know if this error still shows up for you at that point.

    Hi Paul

    Thank you so much for this! That fixed half of the issue- but now there is a new problem

    within the checkout pages I am asked to enter my shipping address but even if I have all of the information filled out I still receive the following message at the bottom of the page

    Enter your full address to see shipping costs.

    What can I do to fix this so that I can successfully place a test order?

    I should also note one thing

    Previously even if I entered all of the correct information during checkout the PLACE ORDER button was greyed out so I added the following CSS to fix that-

    .woocommerce-checkout .blockUI.blockOverlay {
    z-index: -1 !important;

    Also the store is now located at if that’s relevant
