WooCommerce saying: contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files

    This should hopefully be a simple question.

    I installed OceanWP and then modified it a lot. Now WooCommerce is giving me the above warning. So if I modified the theme, and WC wants me to update it, how can I do this? That theme is kinda my custom theme now and if I update OWP then it’ll override my files, right?

    Additionally: do these outdated files matter?

    Hello,

    Use a child theme to add custom functions and stylings. You need to detect the outdated woocommerce hooks in the error message and replace them.
    Also, OceanWP included lots of new features and bug fixes in the latest version, if you don’t update the theme how will you get all these changes?
