    Hi,
When I generate the Tax Report (under woocommerce > reports > Taxes) I get two different numbers for “Report by Tax Code” and “Taxes by Date”.

Over the last months the discrepancy was about 0.2EUR to 0.60EUR on avg. 200 orders. But this month the discrepancy is already at 1.42EUR for 20 orders.

First I suspected that it is some rounding issue of woocommerce or some tax calculations on shipping costs and refunds, but now it does not make sense anymore.

Could you please help me with this?

    BR, George

    Hey @georgemeisenberger!

Can you provide more info about the tax setup on the site? For example, are you using manually-added tax rates in WooCommerce core? Or are you using a tax plugin (like Automated Taxes in WooCommerce Services)? Are you using multiple priorities or compounding rates? Are shipping charges taxed?

Also, if you can provide some specific examples regarding the tax codes, that would be helpful. Thanks!

    Hi,

thank you for you fast response. we are using the following manually entered tax rates:

    VAT default: 20%
    VAT for flowers: 13%
    VAT for food: 10%

    The shipping is taxable.

We are not using any plugin to handle the Tax calculations.

For payment we are using PayPal and Stripe (credit cards, SEPA, Sofort).

    We are using WooCommerce Subscriptions.

    Does this answer your questions?

    Hey @georgemeisenberger,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. Since we last spoke, have you been able to figure out what the discrepancy is related to? After doing some additional research, could the differences be related to this issue?

Hey George! If you are still experiencing issues that aren’t related to the Github issue I linked to in my previous reply, feel free to create a new post and let us know what you are seeing. Thanks!
