Woocommerce-Remove Blank Sidebar Space?

  • I added the Woocommerce plug in and I don’t want any product pages or my main shop page to have a sidebar so I added the code below to my functions.php file:

    /** — remove sidebar WooCommerce — **/
    remove_action( ‘woocommerce_sidebar’, ‘woocommerce_get_sidebar’, 10);

    It worked to remove my sidebar BUT now on my shop page I have an empty space where the sidebar use to be.

    Any ideas on how to remove the space and have the shop be the full page width. I already tried changing the layout from my page that did not work.

    Here is my page
    – please excuse the mess its a test site I am just starting out!

    And I am using the Agency theme.

    Thanks

  • Did you ever get this resolved?

    I added this to my child theme’s functions.php as you show above:
    remove_action( ‘woocommerce_sidebar’, ‘woocommerce_get_sidebar’, 10);

    But I still have sidebars everywhere! I would like by pages and blog to have sidebars, but none anywhere on the woocommerce pages (product or “archive” listings). How do I do this? The layout manager and general layout options don’t provide for this exception, nor do I see it anywhere in the settings for WooCommerce.
