WooCommerce products not visible after migration

I am experiencing a weird issue in which I migrated a wordpress site from my domain to my localhost (computer) and I am able to restore most functionality but I am still having a problem with WooCommerce products and product categories not working.

For example I have a link
http://localhost/wordpress/product/testproduct which shows up on my live server just fine but despite a 1:1 migration the localhost wont come up.

To make it even more odd the product is there on my localhost because I can edit it and see the picture and description.

Any thoughts on what may be going on here?

Can you explain what you mean by not visible? Does it 404? White screen?

It just goes to an error page, not my 404 but just a “does not exist” type error

What about pages and regular posts? Same?

Tried going to settings > permalinks and saving?

I didn’t have normal posts but I made a new one on the localhost and yes it’s the same, nothing shows up.

Tried the permalinks but nothing changed.

BOOM! got it….looks like an issue with the local WAMP server…apparently for local test installs you need to enable a specific module to allow for rewrites so your permalinks work
