Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » WooCommerce: Product Thumbnail Problems

  • I’ve searched through countless forums, GitHub, blogs and I can’t figure out how to add product thumbnails so they show directly below the main product image (featured).

I’ve tried adding additional product images in the main post editor and then deleting them so they don’t show up in the product description, but that doesn’t work.

I’ve tried creating an image gallery but I don’t insert it into the post editor, but that doesn’t work.

I’ve tried adding the images via the main ‘Add Media’ feature and not inserting them into the post, but just by closing the pop-up window, and that doesn’t work.

I should point out that I am not uploading any images…they are already in my media library.

Surely there has to be an easy way to do this because, I would assume, this is a major feature most everybody would want so they can showcase their product better.

    Using WooCommerce 1.6.6
    Using WordPress 3.5.1

I have never done this via the media library but if you upload multiple images for a product, it will show additional images given your theme is supporting it.

I think that’s the problem. I already have the images in my media library so I don’t want to upload them again…I simply want to attach them to the product page. It seems to work if I upload the images but not if they are already in my library.

Yeah I don’t think the media uploader allows multi select at that point. Perhaps you should open a ticket for this on github.
