Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Woocommerce Product Stuck as Draft

I duplicated an existing product, edited the new draft, changed the name, the SKU, and a few more details to make it a new product. When I click “Publish” I get the dialog that says it was published, but it stays in Draft status. It does not appear on the front-end because it really did not publish. I also cannot even TRASH the product from any of the “Trash” links.

Have you experienced this? How to fix? Is this a problem with “duplicate” and the new Woocommerce? I am running Version 4.0.1.

**UPDATE** The stuck-in-draft problem seems to be related to a caching plugin. As I investigate further I will update this thread.

    Hi @randyking

Caching would have been my first suggestion to check as well.

    Hello, @etiennep

YES, that’s exactly what it was. Weird thing is that I had disabled that caching plugin when I went to Dreamhost’s WP hosting because they offer a server-side caching that’s more sophisticated. Somehow, the plugin got re-enabled and caused the problem, probably caching the cache. Now deleted, everything is working fine.

This post can serve as a place for someone else to have the DOH moment. 🙂
