Woocommerce product grid view VS list view (new) (1 post)

I have come across the old post however, there were many unanswered questions for the non-ninja. original post

What many of us are looking for is centred around this:

A great list view of products with the option to add and remove qty then in one move, add to cart.

    Action steps:
    1) group products in one "grouped item" to get this layout

    a) create a "grouped Item" For my client, they have 5 major "catelogues" which they wish to have in a list view as above. So I have created 5 "grouped" products.

to set up a grouped item, you need to set these conditions in the product when you create a new product.

    b) create a new item and make it part of this group.

then you probably want to order how the list of products is displayed so you need to set your menu order. I set the menu items in increments of 5 incase i had to do an insert or reorder, it would be way faster to do this.

    c) need to "hide" the item so it only shows up in the list view as described.

OK so that is as far as I have gotten.

Here is where I need help.

    1) I need to modify the ad to cart button
    As it is: http://screencast.com/t/fKng9kxu

What I need it to be: http://screencast.com/t/omgdAMdad

Notice two things. first there is a + / - for the quantity and second, the ad to cart button is only one.

I have used fire bug to pull out the code for the before and after however, I do not know where to edit this.

    Before code: http://screencast.com/t/36D5GTtYG

    What I need code: http://screencast.com/t/pdyv8fv3

This is as fart as I have gotten and I know its something crazy simple I am just missing it.

    Also on the wish list:

reduce the size of the image on the left
    insert columns
    format columns
    add a header line

Does anyone have any input they can add?
