First, I’d just like to point out that I realise that woocommerce support is not ‘supported’ here, but I do not think this problem is specifically caused by woocommerce, which I will endeavour to explain momentarily!

Basically, I just changed my domain name and ran the search/replace database tool, which seemed to go fine. This of course replaced any instances of my original domain to my new domain in my database (new domain is http://lucianvick.com ).

Previously, I had arranged my woocommerce shop to be based on categories, in that I customised each product category page via php and css to display what I wanted it to display. I did this by altering the product_archive.php page of woocommerce in my child theme (based on the Vantage theme) for the php alterations. The css I added to style.css in my child theme.

Anyway, since switching domain names, my product categories are coming up blank (example: http://lucianvick.com/product-category/art/ ), where before I had galleries, and single products on them. Additionally, I switched themes (to Liveride) at the same time as domain names, and my previous theme (Vantage) is having similar problems when I try switching back. It will display single products on the product category pages, but not the galleries.

I am sorry for such a long question, and I hope it is appropriate for this location, and I very much hope it can be resolved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    🙂

ps, I just remembered that it seems to work when I turn on Template Debug Mode in woocommerce, albeit without the theme header showing (and this only works in the LiveRide theme).

    Update:

I have decided to forego the route of using product categories as shop pages, and have resorted to using basic pages, with shortcodes inserted. This unfortunately means I am able to have no shop base page, but this is not a big issue at all.
