# WOOCommerce Prices

 * Hi guys,
 * I’m trying to disable all prices in my woocommerce.
    I already edited some code
   in the function.php to remove the prices in my catalog. But the prices are still
   visible in; mini-cart, cart, at check out and in the mail.
 * I removed all those things from the .php files in woocommerce. But after a woocommerce
   update all the prices are back.
 * Any idea how i can solve this?

 * Don’t make any modifications in the WooCommerce template files, or code files.
   Anything you do there will be over-written on the next update and you will loose
   any changes that you’ve done (as you’ve found out).
 * This will explain how to make correct template files that won’t be overwritten
   when Woocommerce updates.

 * Oh, and remember that you should do this in a [child theme](https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes)
   as well… otherwise these changes will be lost when your theme updates next.

 * If you just want to display the products without prices, you can just use a plugin
   to enable catalog mode. Something like Yith:
