Woocommerce price & measurement calculator Variable Products – not calculating

Hi Guys.

Recently, after some updates our calculator has some how changed. and our products in our store are no longer calculating correctly.

What we need and what used to work perfectly was:

We sell decking and cladding boards.
Our products show the Unit price per board, and a square metre price.

Our price calculator used to allow users to type in a length(m) and width(m) measurement that would calculate the area m2 and tell them how many boards they would require to re-surface their deck or house.

but now its no longer working. we can’t figure out for the life of us why.
We can kind of get it to work on a simple product, but its useless to us as that won’t allow us to add colours. It won’t work on variable. our deck boards come in colours. so the user needs to select colour. type in their length and width and it should automatically calculate how many boards they require and give them a total price..

It also should work in the other instance… by selecting 20 boards it used to automatically calculate how many square meters would be covered.

why did the update get rid of this and how can i fix it :(:(:(
