    Hallo,

    Danke.

    Hi @walterbishop,

In the settings for woocommerce, I checked the box under “Activate tax rates and calculations”.

When setting the VAT to “Yes, I enter the product prices including VAT.

I then specified the gross price for the products. Now the prices are displayed incorrectly to me. For example, product A costs 22.50 euros (including VAT), but displays 26.77 euros. This should not be the case, since the settings have been made correctly.

Cross testing for us on one of my test sites I couldn’t immediately replicate what you describe above after setting up the site with products inclusive of tax following this example below for the UK.

Usually, the most efficient way to create products and tax in WooCommerce is to create those products Exclusive of tax. That way you can easily calculate the tax added to products regular price based on country/state etc which allows for a more manageable system if you store begin selling into other countries at a future date.

To learn more about how taxes work in WooCommerce this document has a great overview of that.

    Hi Stuart,

thanks for your answer. You are right, it’s better to create a product exclusive of tax. I will try that.
