• Hi there

I tried to install a WooCommerce update this morning. It started going through the process then told me it had failed as it coulnd’t delete the old version to re-install the new one.

I now have all the shop-related pages still on my site, but the main shop page won’t load and the others just show code rather than the content they should show. In my Dashboard, the entire WooCommerce section has disappeared.

I’ve gone into the ftp to have a look and whilst the folder is still there for WooCommerce in wp-content/plugins, there is no content at all in the woocommerce folder structure.

How do I get it all back? It took me many hours to set up my product pages, my stock listing and all delivery options & offer codes 🙁 Have I lost it all?

    Hope someone can help!

    This is the site: http://www.cinisuppli.co.uk

    Thanks

  • I deactivated the plug-in, and manually uploaded the update through FTP overwriting the old files. This seemed to work for me. When I re-activated it, everything appeared to work fine. I had the exact same error though when I tried the automatic update.
