• Hi Guys

Excellent plugin. We installed the plugin on the a3rev site just after Christmas to provide two factor authentication for our thousands of customers. Have not had 1 single issue and very good customer feedback.

We use the WooCommerce plugin and have had add some modifications via our license manager plugin to get the Rublon icon to show on the WooCommerce My Account login, and the checkout page login.

We could go further with making Rublon WordPress plugin 100% compatible with WooCommerce but thought it better to reach out to you first to see if:

    1. You are adding the compatibility
    2. If not we would be happy to do it and contribute the code.
    3. Or if you’d prefer that we develop a Rublon for WooCommerce extension plugin for the Rublon plugin.

The issues that we have identified to date are there.

    1. Rublon icon to apply to the WooCommerce login points
    2. Rublon information that shows on the wp-login.php?action=register page with regard to the Apps etc to show on the WooCommerce Register functions.
    3. The Rublon Trusted Devices menu /admin.php?page=rublon_tdm to show as a tab on the WooCommerce /my-account/ menu example /my-account/trusted-devices/
    4. On the /checkout/ page currently when an existing customer logs in from the /checkout/ page Rublon Authentication works BUT after login the redirect tries to go back to the customers profile page /profile.php/ but WooCommerce redirects to /my-account/. In the process it clears the customers cart, which means they must start the add to cart process again – which is less than ideal.

Anyway – as I said, we are more than happy to help you in any way required to make your plugin 100% compatible with WooCommerce.

    Hey Steve

Thank you very much for your kind words. We’re glad that you and your users are happy with Rublon!

We haven’t looked thoroughly into making Rublon 100% compatible with WooCommerce yet. Please give us a few days until our technical department comes back to work after the holidays. We will analyze this and get back to you. Any help will be appreciated!

If anything further comes to your mind, please let us know.

We would be thankful if you could write a review on our plugin page 🙂

    Hi Guys

Full Woocommerce compatibility will be an excellent feature. Look forward to testing it.

About the review – Would have done it already BUT wanted to post to you about the WooCommerce compatibility as it is essential to our site, so thought I’d wait until we could see if it could be added.

The Rublon plugin is working well on the a3rev site with the hack we apply via our License manager plugin – it will be perfect with your techs adding full WC compat.

    Thank you – Steve

    Hey Steve

Our technical department told us that it would be best if you could simply contribute the code that you have already implemented on a3rev.com. We would add it to the official plugin and of course credit you accordingly.

If you’re willing to do this, please send us everything to support@rublon.com and we will proceed with the implementation.

    Hi Guys

Yes very happy to do that. Guys have you thought about Creating a Rublon_WordPress-Plugin Github repository. If you had that it would make it so much easier to submit a pull request with the patch.

No doubt there would be plenty of other devs who would also like to contribute to your fantastic plugin – and at the end of the day you have complete control over what patches you merge and what you don’t?

    Hey Steve

GitHub is a good idea. We’ll set up a repository there. Once we’ll have it up and running, we’ll let you know.

    Hey guys

That is great. As you are no doubt are aware more and more WP plugin devs are using public Github repos to build an open source community of devs who contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the plugin. We and currently 315 other devs contribute to the WooCommerec plugin via it’s public Git.

As soon as you launch the Rublon WordPress plugin public Git repo and let me know we will fork it, create an issue and then send a pull request when the WooCommerce Compat patch is ready.

    Thanks again.
