Support » Plugin: WooCommerce PayPal Payments » WooCommerce PayPal Payments NOT working

  • Resolved delegend

I have installed and configured the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin, it is active and according to my desktop, operational.
But when a user makes a purchase, the order record remains but indicates “The PayPal payment for the order is set to PENDING status. Details: The beneficiary does not have a PayPal account.”
Apparently everything is correct, but WooCommerce DOES NOT send the money to my PayPal account.
If anyone knows how to fix this or which part to check, I will be grateful.
What happened is that I have a web page: that installs the plugin within wordpress: WooCommerce PayPal Payments, I have it perfectly configured so that when a buyer performs an operation, the money will be sent to my account Commercial PayPal: delegen███ The client pays, a PayPal transaction number appears, the number 6V███████████272K, but it not only says that it is pending, but the application itself says that I do not have a PayPal account. which is a lie.

    Hello @delegend

thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.
If you have connected correctly to your PayPal account (and got the 4 fields, Email address, Merchant Id, Client Id and Secret Key, populated) you might have an issue with your PayPal account. Be aware that if your PayPal account worked correctly in the past, it does not mean that it would work perfectly in this new plugin. This is because there are new functionalities in this plugin that would require additional terms to be accepted before they would work.

So 2 things I would do:
    1) make sure you used the plugin connect wizard to connect to PayPal. If you used the manual option, you could have these types of issues.
    2) Get in contact with PayPal to have them review your account. They will most likely be able to see where the issue is with your account. If you have the account connected, and you get this error: the problem must be with the account itself (not the plugin).

Let me know how that goes.
    Kind regards,
