Hi there!
This does sound frustrating. For this issue, do you mind downloading a fresh copy of WooCommerce Payments from the marketplace? Then, you can install the extension again (Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin) which should allow a forced update.
Please let us know if you have any other trouble with this.
I tried that and it did not work
Hi @bekemarket,
Looks like a few other users have reported this as well.
I found that our team is working on fixing this issue.
Meanwhile a temporary solution would be updating the plugin manually with the plugin files not from the WooCommerce.com Product Page but from this link: https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/woocommerce-payments.2.5.0.zip
Try it out, but if you need more help, please let me know!
@bekemarket – I had the same problem. Per @rahul020691’s suggestion, I manually updated the plugin, and the issue seems to be resolved.
Good luck!
(@rahul020691 seems like you answer worked for me. The plugin update the way you suggested. I looked thru my woocom setup seems ok nothing changed. I’m wondering if affects the payments? Should I put in test mode to verify still accept payments?
Thank you
Hi @breaie ,
I’m wondering if affects the payments? Should I put in test mode to verify still accept payments?
Sure, I’d recommend testing on a staging site and putting WooCommerce Payments to test mode on there.
If your host doesn’t offer that option, I’d recommend WP Staging for quickly copying your site to a staging environment.
In the documentation below, you’ll find instruction for testing WooCommerce Payments:
