I have been given the Nostalgia template to work with:
Nostalgia uses primarily AJAX, and when I try to view a product with Woocommerce, I get:
Fatal error: Call to a member function is_on_sale() on a non-object in …\wp-content\plugins\woocommerce\templates\single-product\sale-flash.php on line 13.
Curiously, the object in globals $product, is actually a string (the name of the product itself) when used with this theme, instead of an object like it should be, containing data.
The theme people just said a non ajax plugin wouldn’t work with the theme. Not much to go on there.
Any ideas/advice on whether its possible for me to work around this? Or should I just give up?
Sorry about not having a live version to show at this point, just wanted to see if anyones come up against this before.
