WooCommerce not saving Direct Bank Transfer detail changes

I have enabled payment by direct bank transfer. I added multiple bank accounts in the past. I recently made a test purchase and noticed the bank account details were not correct. I went into the settings and noticed they were all set to my country instead of different countries. I updated all the bank account details. After clicking ‘save’, a message appeared in the left bottom that the changes were indeed saved. Except that they weren’t. When I navigated to another page and then back to the Direct Bank Transfer details page, the old settings were back again.

I have installed several additional webshop plugins, however even when I deactivate them all and then try again, the changes are not being saved.

My WooCommerce plugin is up to date.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have tried to replicate the issue on my site but I’m not able to do so. I can easily change the bank details on my site without any issues.

To assist you further, could you please record a video showing the changes you’re trying to save and how they appear on your site? For video, you may use https://loom.com. Also, please check the browser console when trying to save the changes to see if any errors appear. You can open the browser console by pressing Ctrl + Shift + I.

Thanks again for sharing the video; really helpful!

I’ve tested the Direct Bank Transfer settings on my end and confirmed that changes to account details are saving correctly. See screencast: https://streamable.com/n9b6zp. That suggests the issue may be specific to your site setup.

Here are a few things we can check together:
- Try switching to a default theme like Storefront temporarily and test saving the bank details again. This helps rule out any theme-related conflicts.
- Purge all cache from the LiteSpeed plugin dashboard.
- Temporarily disable LiteSpeed Cache and retest the save.
- Disable the “Country Based Bank Accounts for WooCommerce” plugin and try saving the bank details again.
- Download a fresh copy of the plugin and manually install it.

Thank you for your advice. It seems to be an issue with cashing. I only got it to work after purging the cache each time I changed and saved individual account details. Very cumbersome…
