WooCommerce Missing Header/Title After WP Update

    As of the time I post this, the URL above works because we rolled back our version of WooCommerce. The pages showed “Template part has been deleted or is unavailable: header” (and footer). And this version of Woo is also trying to make our woo page template called template-canvas.php – https://www.screencast.com/t/IIie3rcAEM1 – which we never had before. A recent update to WordPress (we ruled out plugins) caused out gift card page and the individual gift card product view (and regular Simple Products) to stop being styled in our theme. The staging site looked fine. Production and Staging were both using WP 5.9. Production use WooCommerce 6.1.1 but Staging uses WooCommerce 6.0.0. So we rolled our Production site back to 6.0.0. and now it is fine. But we need this solved for future WooCommerce updates.

    @icommllc

    This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
     
    The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

    If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.     Yes, I understand it is a theme issue. It is a custom them by use that we built 3 years ago. Something must have changed in WooCommerce and it is looking for something or WooCommerce is adding something. Why is it changing our product pages to use a template we never used called ‘template-canvas.php”? What changed in version 6.1.1 from 6.0.0? What can we add/edit/remove from our Theme to accommodate the WooCommerce 6.1.1 change?
