Title: WooCommerce issues Last modified: August 30, 2016 --- # WooCommerce issues * [ladalang](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ladalang/) * (@ladalang) * [10 years, 9 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/woocommerce-issues-4/) * I deleted the checkout page from the main menu because under products page is another “checkout” page with a different shortcode. I deleted it because there is a duplicate “checkout” page under “products” page. But it remained in the main navigation buttons but when pressed I get a 404 page not found error. I tried to create it again with the [woocommerce_checkout]short code but didn’t work. I went to the woocommerce plugin and account status, tools and clicked on add woo commerce pages. Supposed to add missing pages. Didn’t work. I searched documentation online for hours and found nothing to help. Now the “checkout” page from the main menu has a 404 error. The “Checkout” under the “Products” page shows the shortocde when not logged in. Under “transaction results” I see the shortcode when not logged in and under “your account” I see the shortcode. When I click on the cart icon I get a page not found 404 error. I would be willing to do a reinstall if I can fix all the pieces parts. You should also update your permalink structure under Settings > Permalinks for friendly URLs. (ie. Delete the Checkout and Cart pages completely, and delete all the pages in your trash. How do I delete the checkout out and cart completely? Above the “Bulk Actions” select (drop down) field there will be “All | Published | Trash”, click the “Trash” option. Once the page reloads, empty/permanently delete all pages from the Trash. * Step 2) Recreate the Cart and Checkout pages by using the “Add New” button and place the correct shortcode on each page. * Step 3) Hover over “Appearance” and select “Menus”. Navigate to your Main Navigation that you created when you setup the site, and remove all of the existing Cart and Checkout pages. * Step 4) Add the pages back to the menu and drag them to the desired order. Click the Save button. * Step 5) Hover over settings and select “Permalinks”, choose the “Post Name” option to tidy up your links and give the URLS meaning.
