• Hello,
I am using Woocommerce with products configured to have variations that represent differing weights of the base product.
eg. Attribute set up of size “30 gm”, “140m gm”, “1 kg”, with variations created for each of these attributes.

The problem is that inventory control is not adequate. I have the option to enter in a global inventory # which each variation pulls from the same bulk # but with no differentiation because of size. Eg. Inventory = 10. Order comes in for 10 30 gm variations and your stock is now 0.
…or I can enter in an inventory value for each variation but that does not work since you are pulling all from the same pool of product.
EG. Each variation is giving an inventory of 10. Actual inventory is 10 kg. 10 1 kg. variations are ordered but inventory of 140 and 30 gm variations will not be effected and can still be ordered even thought physical inventory is 0.

Is there a good solution to this?
