Hello my website is tjonthenba.com and I am using woocommerce. Currently when you click on an item you can add it to your cart. However when you try to proceed to your cart or checkout further it just brings you back the homepage. It does this in a few different areas when using the store and it’s items. Can someone tell me why this is?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Ok now all plugins besides wordpress are deactivated. How would I update my permalinks?

Well make sure WC is still enabled.

Go to Settings down below in WP menu, then click on Permalinks and scroll to the bottom and just click SAVE. Then test

I tried saving permalinks like you said and it didnt work. I do notice product permalinks is set to Custom base product/

I tried to change that to default to see if maybe that was the issue and it would not let me save it to default. Do you think maybe this is the issue?

Make sure your permalinks look like this

I also see something at the bottom of your site in source. You have no inventory for a product. In testing I couldn’t replicate that on this site. So your settings may be off there.

I changed the permalinks to look how you said but I dont thin it helped. As far as the settings you couldnt replicate not sure exactly what you mean for my settings being off or where I could change them?

I need to see your htaccess file. Something’s wrong in your server. Are you able to create another install?

I could but I just don’t want to lose all my blog posts, pages, or woocomerce products ive added. Will I lose all that.

You misunderstand. Make a copy of your site somewhere else. There’s something wrong on this server.

So if there’s something wrong with my server that means there is something wrong with my host right? And my host should be the ones to help me fix it or at least attempt?

    Stef

    (@serafinnyc)

Yes and Yes. It’s very complicated to tell over forum messages where the problem is.

I noticed you didn’t submit a systems report here. I’d do that too. If your host refuses to give you the htaccess file I don’t know where else to go from here. It’s vital we check everything.

    Hey @tylerjamesnba

After Stef’s help last week, we haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
