  • Hello, I wanted to block the cookies inserted by this plugin. I saw something on other plugin using the script shown:

    add_filter('woocommerce_ga_disable_tracking', 'gdpr_ga_integration_wc', 20);
    function gdpr_ga_integration_wc( $disable_ga_wc ) {
      if ( function_exists( 'gdpr_cookie_is_accepted' ) ) :
        if ( ! gdpr_cookie_is_accepted( 'thirdparty' ) ) :
        	$disable_ga_wc = true;
        endif;
      endif;
      return $disable_ga_wc;
    }
    add_action( 'gdpr_force_reload', '__return_true' );

    Any ideas on how to do this with your plugin?
    Thanks.

    Hi @danidub,

    Our premium version plugin is compatible with this plugin and is capable of automatically blocking its script. The free version does not have any filters as shared.

    @webtoffee So there is no way to achieve this in the free version?

    Hi @danidub,

    As this is a pro version feature, it cannot be achieved with the free one.

    @webtoffee thank you for you comments.

    For anyone looking for this I’ve found a way and is to load the GA script on the cookie categories and setup the Woocommerce Google Analytics Integration not to load GA script. That way the GA script will only be loaded if the user has consent those cookies.

    Hi @danidub,

    That is the default method of script blocking implementation via the plugin. You can refer the instruction in the setup guide here.

    We were under the impression that you require to keep the Woocommerce Google Analytics Integration plugin and still manage to block cookies which is why this implementation wasn’t mentioned in the earlier response. Sorry about that.
