WooCommerce for online food/catering ordering site

    Hello- would be WooCommerce a robust and flexible enough platform to build a somehow complex online food ordering system? Meaning, a business with 100 locations nationwide, food selection with add-ons and have some options to allow customers to customize orders. Something like Jimmy Johns website.

    I’ve seen a few online ordering sites built on WC, but cannot really offer much guidance as I’ve not done it myself. If you want to talk to other client site developers perhaps post on ‘advanced woocommerce’ facebook group to see if anyone else has tackled it.

    If your question is can it do it “out of the box” the answer is no. You need to add the customisation portion, as variable products are not well suited to this.
