[resolved] Woocommerce featured image overrides theme header image (4 posts)

Just started with Woocommerce and noticed that when we specify a featured image for a product, and we are on the page for that product, the featured image ends up replacing the image that we had selected to go in the theme's header. The theme is a child of twentyeleven and we are using the same mechanism to select it.

We want the product featured image to be there but want it to stay out of the header. Could someone please point me to where I can turn that off, or which Woocommerce template file might be doing this.

Never mind; I changed the theme to deal with the header image differently than the default, and that eliminated the issue.

    How did you do this?

    Having the same issue.

We have a theme that is a child theme of twentyeleven. I copied header.php from twentyeleven to our child theme directory, removed the chunk of code that inserted the header image (about 36 lines of code after the end of the hgroup), and put in a direct link to the image that we wanted for our design.
