• I am currently experiencing a problem with my WooCommerce setup, specifically related to email delivery to my Gmail inbox. Despite configuring everything correctly, I am not receiving any emails in my Gmail inbox, including new order notifications, password reset requests, or any other important communications.

I have checked my Gmail spam folder and all mail sections thoroughly, but I couldn’t find any emails from my WooCommerce store. However, interestingly, when I used a temporary email address, I received the emails successfully in the temporary email inbox.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions you can provide to help me receive WooCommerce emails in my Gmail inbox as intended.

this image is from a temp-mail website, as you can see this is emails from my website, but in my gmail inbox i don’t receive anything

  • Hey there, @mouad09! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

As I understand when you add an Gmail email on WooCommerce > Settings > Emails you do not receive the emails from us, but with an email from a different provider you do, correct?

Let’s help you troubleshoot this to figure out what is going on.

The first step is to install WP Mail Logging plugin. This plugin will allow you to check if the emails are being sent or not.

Please make a test order after installing the plugin to check if the emails are sent.

You can find more about this in this guide, including what to do after you find out if the emails were sent.

I hope this was clarifying. If you face any issues or have any questions, please let us know so we can assist you further.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hey there 👋,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if you need any further help with this.

    Cheers!

@beautyofcode, if you could still answer the question, I would appreciate it. I’m finding the same problem with MULTIPLE client websites. Clients are emailing me frantically letting me know that they “happened” to check on line because they hadn’t been getting order notifications and over a weeks worth of orders are there.

We have WP logging installed on the various websites. They all show emails were sent from the webstie. We have wp mail smpt installed to help with mail verification as well. The emails in most cases were sending fine up until a week ago. Now these emails are not showing up at all, not even in the spam folder.

I’m happy to start a new “topic” but since my issue seems to be identical, and it’s only been a week since this topic was “potentially closed”, I’m hoping to just build on what is here.

    Thanks!

    Paige

    Hey @paigettie 👋

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue similar to the one above.

I understand that the issue seems identical however, since each sites environment differs, and in order to align with the forum guidelines, would you please start your own topic?

We’ll be more than happy to help there. 🙂

    Cheers!

I’m also experiencing problems with email confirmations not being received by people with gmail accounts. I’ve tested the system using my own gmail account and no confirmation email was sent for the event I test booked on. Do you have any advice on how to resolve this? thanks.

    Hi @beautyofcode, @rajeshml, @breadlawrence

I lost my account password and still can’t access it.

Today, I encountered a similar issue. I create websites for clients, and while some of the websites are functioning well, others are not receiving emails in my Gmail inbox. However, when I use a temporary email service, I can see the emails.

    What do you suggest?

    Thank you!

    Hello mouad09,

    Thank you for your reply.

Here are a few things you can check to troubleshoot the email issue:
1- Install the WP Mail Logging plugin to verify if WordPress is generating the emails correctly.
2- Contact your hosting provider to confirm whether the server is sending the emails as expected.
3- Check all folders in your Gmail account, including the Spam or Promotions folders, to see if the emails are being filtered there.

Let me know how it goes. 🙂

    Best regards.

    Hi @mouad09,

I understand your frustration, but your request falls outside the scope of our support. WooCommerce triggers the email, but the server responsible for sending it is either your hosting provider or the SMTP server you’re using.

If the issue is specific to Gmail delivery, then this is likely a server-related problem. Your hosting provider or SMTP client would be the best resource to assist you in resolving it.
