Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Woocommerce element “Order Tracking Form”

I am trying to use the woocommerce element “Order Tracking Form” [woocommerce_order_tracking], but the translation into Swedish is incorrect – it is uppercase on every single word. The grammar is not entirely correct either. And also the text above the e-mailadress need to be change.

You can see a print screen on following image:

How can this be corrected? (Without having to adjust this after each update).

I use theme “The Retailer” and Woocommerce Version 3.6.2 and WordPress version 5.1.1.

I hope someone can help me. Thank you in advance!

The uppercase is most likely due to a style setting in the CSS of your theme. It is not WC. As for translation you might want to look for a plugin that will translate properly.

The current translation of this string is located at

And it reads För att följa din order, vänligen ange order nr samt e-postadress nedan och klicka på "Följ order". Order nr hittar du i ditt kvitto och i orderbekräftelsen.

EditAdd: So this confirms that you’ve got some CSS converting the text. If you’d give a link to your site, then someone might be able to help you with a piece of “Extra CSS” to undo the conversion. Alternatively, you can get in touch with the author of your theme.

PS! There were several issues with the translation of that string. I’ve done some changes to this string (and to other strings that contain the term “Order ID”). You should be able to find an updated language pack for WooCommerce in Swedish within 1-2 hours.

If you find other issues with the Swedish translation, feel free to reach out via or even consider joining our Swedish Slack team. You may invite yourself via

    Hi Tor-Bjorn and serafinnyc,

Thank you so much for your information!!
Here is a link to my site – it would be great if someone can help me with css-code that I can add in “Simple Custom CSS” so the problem with the uppercase disappear:

Tor-Bjorn – Thank you for the changes you have done to the string!! 🙂 Does the ‘language pack for WooCommerce’-update shows automatically in the ‘update section’ in WordPress, so I can find it there?

I have now joined the Swedish Slack team … but I am not sure how it works …

Again, thank you very much Tor-Bjorn for all you help!! 🙂

    Anytime man!

Just add this to your Additional CSS in Customize

    form label{text-transform:inherit !important;}

    Anything else let us know.

    Hi again serafinnyc,

    Thanks for your reply!
Only that code alone that you gave me didn’t work, but I guess it has to be something before this code – maybe something with .woocommerce … but I don’t know anything about css coding so I don’t know what …

Make sure you clear cache afterwards. For you you may be stuck in Cache and for me it’s going to work cuz I’ve never been to your site and in Console it worked. You could add the woocommerce class. Sure.

If you go to Admin Panel updates, then there may be a button towards the end of the page to fetch updated translations.

    Hi again serafinnyc,

I have cleared the cache over and over, but I don’t get the css code to work …

    Hi again Tor-Bjorn,

Yes, you are right!! I have updated the translation now. Thank you!

I think the translated text should be the following since you also have to enter your e-mailadress (I don’t know if it is right of me to write the text here, but I try …):

För att följa din order, ange ditt ordernummer samt din e-postadress och klicka sedan på “Spåra”. Ordernumret hittar du på din orderbekräftelse.

Also, above the e-mailadress the translated text is: E-postadress för fakturering
But “för fakturering” should med deleted since some customers pay their orders with VISA/MasterCard etc.

I hope you can help me. Thank you very much! 🙂

I just cleared my cache and I see it is working. So wherever you added it is working perfectly. You did it!

What I suggest you do is open up a private window or incognito because it is definitely stuck in cache.

@gianilsson Well. Personally, I don’t even use WooCommerce (yet), but probably will soon (in Russian, though).
The problem is that the translation needs to follow the original, which is:
To track your order please enter your Order ID in the box below and press the "Track" button. This was given to you on your receipt and in the confirmation email you should have received. As you can see, here it doesn’t say anything about “entering email”. If the email is expected in the same field, then we should raise a ticket about this at so that the string can be brought in line with the reality.

I found that Order ID in WooCommerce was translated in 3-4 different ways in various places. I changed them all to “Order-ID”. And I’ll add this to the Swedish glossary, too. ( )

By the way, any logged in user can suggest new/better translations over at
But, in order to avoid unnecessary work for yourself, me and other volunteers, it’s always good to discuss first, like you just did here (and also are more than welcome to do in the channel “Translations” in the Swedish Slack team you just joined.

    Hi again serafinnyc,

I have now restarted the computer and also done a CCleaner and checked the website in different browsers, but still it is uppercase on every single word in the translation …

    Even in Private or Incognito?

    Hi again serafinnyc,

I have used CCleaner to empty the cache.
