    Hi there, 🙂

I have struggled to find a solution of my problem and so ended up here. I am only an amateur when it comes down to wordpress and woocommerce really so if you are able to help me, please don’t get annoyed with my request :). System Status Report and some error reports have been attached at this end. Now to my problem:

I am using the Flatrate Shipping Option with 6 different options, from which the customer has to choose by themselves. They are all written in the additional rates window.
However when you go on the cart or checkout page it only says
“Shipping costs will be calculated once you have provided your address.”

To work around it I have tried to tick “enable the shipping calculator on the cart page” under “shipping options”
Now when you press calculate and type in/choose anything in the three boxes and press the “calculate shipping” button below all the options come up & remain.

I would like to know if there is an easier workaround to this without inconveniencing our customers, because I don’t think anyone would have the patience to do this.

What I would need is that as soon as you go on the cart or checkout page under shipping options the six different choices people have show up.

Could you please let me know if this is possible with woocommerce and if yes how to manage to fix it.

I have just added the debug to wpconfig and the following shows up at the top of the screen however I have not ever changed anything in these folders which are said to be at fault:

Notice: Use of undefined constant wp_generator – assumed ‘wp_generator’ in /var/www/vhosts/thepawstore.co.nz/httpdocs/max2shadytpshp/wp-content/plugins/wp-secure-by-sitesecuritymonitorcom/wpSecureFunctions.php on line 1177

In settings there is an option called ‘default customer address’. You could try setting this so the user has an address when they visit your store. That should then show shipping options if available.

Hi, I have the same problem, spent hours but cannot solve it. “Shipping costs will be calculated once you have provided your address.” is always displayed in the delivery line.

However, as I am logged in as an administrator delivery works perfectly and there is no such message. I use flat rate and free delivery if the minimum order exceeds a particular amount. I have tried everything but still have this issue. I will really appreciate your help. Thank you.

    Hi again, 🙂

I followed your instructions Mike and now it seems to be working – it does show up. However it is now like greyed out. On the checkout page everything under “your order” is greyed out, which means it is visible, but nothing can be selected there (shipping, terms&conditions, place order).

Do you have any idea where this could come from ? 🙂
Thank you for your help and for taking the time to solve my problem for me 🙂

    It’s in general woocommerce options.

I still have no Shipping Options. It’s weird because I need my client to add all the items to cart and when they go check out, I need them to be able to picking what size box they want without having nothing relying on each item individually. I need to be able to add Small|Medium|Large box, after they pick the cigar size they want. i added the methods through the back end but can’t get the boxes to show up on the right side. :[ Thanks for any help in advance.

    Hello,

I have problems with this to.
Is their any proper tutorial about setting this up?
Either there old with a different GUI or to short explained, follow the steps exacttly but i dont get the same result as that short tutorial.

Obviously i cant run a webshop if it doesnt add shippingcosts.
Really need to figure this out or i am forced to ditch Woocommerce. 🙁

    Thank you.

Once shipping is enabled, this covers adding zones and rates https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-shipping-zones/

If you need more advanced options, such as box type shipping, you need an extension. e.g. table rates or flat rate boxes.

    Thanks for your reply.

I had already read that but that doesnt work. Tried many times step by step, even the short videotutorial.

Isnt their a proper videotutorial about this?

I dont get to see shipping costs added. Tried all settings shown etc.

I dont really need advanced shippingcosts features, only Free shipping above 20,- order, but i didnt even get to try that as i dont get shippingcosts in the first place.

As i am new with wp and Woocommerce since last week, i might overlook a basic setting.
A step by step tutorial would be great. I cant figure out what i am doing wrong.

I dont have the shippingmethod tab in my productpage.
That is the problem. Now all left is the solution.

I am using Woocommerce for the first time in a little while and I notice some changes.

When it goes to the checkout page I am only getting a billing details on one side and additional information on the other side with order notes.

I have setup the shipping but it is not showing up on the checkout as an option.

I have looked at a lot of woocommerce forums and guides but I have found nothing that helps.

    What is being missed here?

    Thank you.

    Hi

I have the same problem as Micheal. Since I migrated from shared hosting to my own dedicated server, all my shipping options on my new products have disappeared. I use the BPTPI and my shipping doesn’t show on any of the new products I load. It does however show the shipping options on all the old products I have loaded before migrating.

Any help regarding this matter would be much appreciated.

    TIA
