    Hello,
I used your theme to design a similar website a month ago and everything seemed to work. This time however when I go to appearance>customize>woocommerce the only option available is checkout.

Previously on the last site I had multiple options here to customise woocommerce, could you explain where they have gone? I would like my add to cart button to float, add/change the store notice and shop page to display catagories not products. But I have no way to do any of these at moment.
    Many Thanks
    Dave

  • I too have a similar problem. When I Select “Appearance>Customise, I only get the option to customise Widgets – and off course at this point, clicking on widgets brings up the message:
“Your theme has 6 widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them.
You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages”.

Have tried deactivating most unnecessary plugins (but must keep WPML for the French translations,Really simple SSL, Updraft plus, Wordfence and a couple more.). Having installed the paid for plugin bundle plugins, I removed most of these – but am left wondering if perhaps one of them may have been necessary.
I keep regular backups so while my the Customiser works in a restore from 18/05/2018, it only shows widgets for customising on 25/05/2018. I believe an update between these two date has caused the problem, and suspect it could be Elementor, but not really sure.

HAve narrowed down the problem somewhat – I omitted to say above, that I was using the Oceanwp child theme, containing the styles.css and functions.php, as supplied by the author on Github.
I have found that, with my various plugins enabled, if I de-activate the Child Theme, and instead activate the full Oceanwp theme, then I can again access all the various customise options at all their various levels.
Both the functions.php and styles.css are unchanged from the way they were supplied, so it seems to me that perhaps I need something in one of these child theme files to make customisation work correctly when using the Child Theme, as everyone advises doing, n’est-ce pas??

Hello @littlebearlanzarote, currently there are two WooCommerce sections, you need to go to the second section, I fixed this problem in the next release.

Hi @fingersmorris, activate your child theme and try this: https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/510-add-to-cart-button-missing

    Hi
Just a quick follow-up note to say thank uou very much. Having applied the fix above that you suggested, all is working well again. I am very grateful to you for your rapid response, and effective resolution to the problem.
    Best wishes
