In short, it works but I recently received a query regarding Gravity Forms and Membership related metadata so I am reviewing everything carefully.

@mrsouza I am already working on this point. So before merge, the latest version will show you the total number of database entries related to the user A and user B including shop_order post_type. I am ensuring the same outcome and also adding the option to recover/restore if mistakenly something went wrong. Please wait for the next version.

I was hoping for a possible update in this issue … I believe it is the same issue I am seeing, but I will fully describe it below to ensure it in fact is the same.

I have customers over time create “new” accounts (woocommerce) because they have changed their email address and instead of just correcting their current account they just make a new one. NOT a big deal WP User Merger to the rescue to merge the accounts.

However after the merger (which works as stated it should) I find that if I go under woocommerce/orders in woocommerce and look up the customer all their orders from all time show as expected (14 in this example). *** BUT *** If I go to woocommerce/customers in woocommerce section and look up the same customer only the number of Orders of the account that all user accounts were merged into shows (9 in this example).

So If that is happening (which I can work around) I assume it is also affecting the woocommerce reports to some extent. I pull a report twice a year to look at my top 10 customers (by amount of dollars spent) and reward them with some sort of gift. I believe the report is pulled via the Customer side of woocommerce (in this case only 9 orders not the actual 14 orders).

So any update on this would be appreciated
    Thank you.

You brought an important aspect to my attention, give me a little and I will come back to you with the answer after testing.

I see you released Version: 1.5.0 … and it discusses some of the issues presented in the thread. If the issue I discussed is now corrected, is there something I can do to “update” the database to now associate all orders correctly at the woocommerce/customers in woocommerce section

It is still not the final one, please wait for the upcoming one.

    Hi,

Just jumping in on this string in to get the version update when WooCommerce user mergers with order history are possible.

    Thanks!

Please be more specific regarding the order history, does it mean the orders of one user should be assigned to other, after merger? If yes, it already exists.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your fast reply.

We use WooCommerce and WooCommerce Memberships. We have a few customers who would like to combine their accounts.

I understand your plugin will merge WordPress Users and their WooCommerce order history, but will it assign a membership from one user to another?

    Thank you.

That’s what I am working on already, the membership ship related meta data. If you are interested to join me in beta testing, please use the help tab on the settings page.

@twowithink I have completed this part, please use the latest version and confirm if anything is working normal?

    Hi,

Just to confirm… the latest version of the plugin will merge WordPress Users and their WooCommerce order history, AND assign a membership from one user to another?

    Thanks.

Correct! But please try it on your beta/staging website first. Do not perform merge on live website as you are merging it for the first time.
