    Hi there,

I have a problem with the “Woocommerce customer processing order” mail. If I edit the mail with “WP HTML Mail” under the “Woocommerce” register everything is working fine. But when I go back to the preview (the emails that are sent are looking the same) I get a totally different content and a strange formatted mail:

= Vielen Dank für Ihre Bestellung = Hallo XXX, Ihre Bestellung ist eingegangen und wird nun bearbeitet. Die Einzelheiten Ihrer Bestellung können Sie der nachfolgenden Tabelle entnehmen. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= [BESTELLUNG #XXX] (7. MÄRZ 2019) XXX – XXX X 1 = EUR129,90 ========== Zwischensumme: EUR129,90 Lieferung: EUR4,90 via Versand National Zahlungsmethode: PayPal Gesamt: EUR134,80 inkl. Mwst. EUR21,52 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= RECHNUNGSADRESSE Herr XXX LIEFERADRESSE Herr XXX XXX XXX Vielen Dank! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

No Graphics are shown an the text also differs from the one I saved in the edit window.

    Can anyone help?

  • Hey @hannibal88
looks like the email is configured to be sent as plain text.
Go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Emails
find the correct email and click “manage”. Now you should see a setting whether to send the email as HTML or Plan Text. Select HTML and try again.
    best regards, Hannes

    Thanks for the fast response.

That’s right – the setting was set to “plain”.

But the main problem is still out there. This is what I inserted in the editor:

“Sehr geehrte/r [BILLING_FULL_NAME],Ihre Zahlung wurde bestätigt und Ihre Bestellung #[ORDER_NUMBER] wird nun bearbeitet:”

And this is what’s shown in the preview (and also finally sent):

    “Hallo XXX,

Ihre Bestellung ist eingegangen und wird nun bearbeitet. Die Einzelheiten Ihrer Bestellung können Sie der nachfolgenden Tabelle entnehmen.”

Maybe there’s another email template in your theme. Please go to SETTINGS -> EMAIL TEMPLATE -> WOOCOMMERCE and make sure the setting “ignore templates from theme” is visible and active.

Sorry, but I can’t find this setting on the described page!?

Ok so I think you don’t have a template in your theme. Otherwise it should be there. Maybe you use any other email related plugins?
Is WP HTML Mail WooCommerce up to date (2.8.3)?

The plugin is up to date, yes.

I’m also using Woocommerce Germanized which may has an effect on emails.

WP HTML Mail WooCommerce tells me this:

    “AddOn emails
Your installed WooCommerce addons registered the emails listed below. These emails can’t be customized with our mailbuilder but you can add some global settings.

WC GZD Email Customer Paid For Order
WC GZD Email Customer New Account Activation
    WC GZD Email Customer Revocation
    WC GZD Email Customer Ekomi
WC GZD Email Customer Trusted Shops
WC GZD Email Customer SEPA Direct Debit Mandate”

I think the “WC GZD Email Customer Paid For Order” could effect the “customer processing order” mail but it’s deactivated under Woocommerc/settings/emails.

Is there a kind of hirarchy between plugins who are overwriting the WC-Templates?

I think we found the cause of the problem.
For Germanized emails you can only edit the global styling, not the content.
Maybe you could switch to “German Market” instead of germanized? This is better integrated in our plugin

But when I deactivate the WC Germanized plugin, the problem/difference between the text from the editor and the preview is still there. Shouldn’t the deactivation solve this problem?

Yes it should solve the problem. Can I have admin access to your site so I can have a look?
You should can send your credentials via email to <myfirstname>@<mylastname>.com
