Woocommerce custom shop page

Hello. I am using a static page as my home page and I use some shortcodes to show some products. When my cart is empty and visit the cart there is a button saying to go back to shop. But because I hove deactivated the shop page it does nothing. The problem is that, if I set my home page as the shop page from woocommerce settings then it works but I get more products on my homepage that I don’t want. Any thoughts?
