Woocommerce Cross Sell on Variable Products

    WC 3 after udpate

    A variable product with a cross-sell linked product does not show the cross-sell on the cart page.

    Change it to simple and the cross-sell shows on the cart page.

    Anybody else experiencing this issue.

    Anybody heard from WC before I start wading through their code.

    Steps:

    Create Product
    Change to Variable
    Add attribute color: red | blue
    save for variations
    Add all variations
    Set price for red and blue
    Add linked product – Crosssell

    View product
    Add to Cart
    No Crosssell

    Modify product
    Change to Simple
    View Product
    Add to Cart
    Crosssell appears
