When selecting “Orders” from the My Account page, I get the correct order information with the Hivepress aside menu. This is not a theme conflict. Please look into this. Thanks.

Yes, HivePress embeds the Orders page into the account menu, many HivePress extensions rely on WooCommerce orders, but including all of the items is not required and keeping this menu item on another account page may confuse users.

Please let me know if you want to exclude the Orders menu item (e.g. if you don’t use any extensions that require payments), I’ll provide a code snippet for this.

I agree, it is confusing depending on how it’s used. I do like your menu but it doesn’t apply in my case. How about determining who called the page and set the menu accordingly? You could also make it a selection, (a) Woocommerce (b) Hivepress (c) Combined

Sorry, there’s no simple code snippet for checking this, it would require adding some custom parameters to all URLs linking to the account page. Please consider using HivePress or WooCommerce account, unfortunately there’s no simple solution for this since WooCommerce implements its own account page.

Can you write the code to embed your menu when your extensions need to display your menu? How can I turn it off? In this website, woocommerce and hivepress have absolutely nothing to do with each other except where hivepress requires it.

If there are no HivePress extensions that require payments on your site (Paid Listings, Marketplace, Claim Listings, etc.) I can provide a code snippet that simply removes the Orders menu item from HivePress menu. Displaying/removing it depending on the installed extensions would require advanced customizations in the current version.

    I came up with a work-around.

I am going to ask you to add the .is-active class so both menus have the same functionality and please change “Sign Out” to “Logout” so they match as well. Thank You.

BTW, cool plugin. Once I figure it all out, I hope to give it a favorable review.

Thanks for posting the solution! Yes, styling them similarly may be a nice workaround. You can change the Sign Out string (or any other static string) via Loco Translate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zeOL8uh6jiM&ab_channel=HivePress
