woocommerce checkout page looks bad

    I am having trouble getting my checkout page to look good. It seems stuck in a window that is too narrow for the page which is causing some strange results in the look of the page. I just want it to be the full page. I am very new to site building so any help is most certainly appreciated.

    – go to the list of pages at Dashboard > Pages
    – find the Checkout page & Edit
    – look for the content visual / text tabs, and select the text tab
    – look for and delete <pre> and </pre> tags either side of the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode.

    Thank you for responding. I had seen that in a previous thread but those tags are not on the page.

    The pre tags are in the markup.

    Try starting a new page, call it abc for now. It should have only
    [woocommerce_checkout]
    on it. Go to Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced
    and select this page on the checkout drop-down.
